TEN COMMANDANTS OF CALIENTE
If all residents of Caliente followed these guidelines, we could minimize the need for compliance
actions and help keep our community enjoyable for everyone.
 1) SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit is 10 mph on streets and 5 mph in parking lots. Please
always observe these limits when operating vehicles or golf carts.
2) STOP SIGNS: Please come to a complete stop at all stop signs posted throughout the
park.
3) BADGES: Owners, residents, renters, and visitors are required to wear the appropriate
badge while in the park. Badges are required for access to all Park facilities. Please make
this a daily habit.
4) UTILITY TRAILERS: Utility trailers of any kind may only be stored on Caliente
property from April 1 through October 31. Alternate storage must be arranged outside of
these dates.
5) PETS: Pet-related concerns continue to be one of the most common issues. Please
remember:
A. Pets must always be on a leash when outside.
B. Owners must clean up after their pets. Please carry waste bags.
C. Excessive barking is not permitted. Please ensure your pet does not disturb neighbors.
6) STORAGE ON YOUR LOT: Please keep your lot and carport areas neat and
uncluttered. Patio furniture is acceptable; however, items that create an unsightly
appearance or serve no clear purpose should not be stored in visible areas.
7) STREET PARKING: Vehicles, RVs, and golf carts may not be parked on any Caliente
street overnight or for more than two (2) hours within a 24-hour period.
8) QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Please be respectful of
your neighbors during this time.
9) BUILDING PERMITS: A permit is required for any improvement to your lot, including
painting, landscaping, or structural changes. Permits are easy to obtain and free of charge.
1O) GUESTS: All guests using any CPOA facility must register at the Business Office for
each visit. Guest visits are limited to two weeks, unless approved by the Board or its
representative. Non-resident owners must register and accompany their guests while
using facilities.
Thank you for helping keep Caliente a friendly, safe, and enjoyable community for all.
